Peace ...

Recent ethnic violence in the city reminds me of such old incidents (in 80s and 90s )which once burnt lives and character of this city. When I talk of character of this city, we all Karachiites know that 99% populous of this city is peaceful and know how to love and resepct life. Most population living here has contributed quite positively towards attainment of titles such as 'Uroos-ul-bilad' or 'City of lights'.

But yes ...there are elements who always come first for putting oil in any fire erupting in this biggest city of Pakistan and financial Hub of country. Understandebly motives of these elements are clear to everyone, 'To Destry Pakistam' and to not let this country prosper at its potential.

I wish and pray that this violence stops at earliest.

Long live Pakistan and peace!

Eid Celebrations

This year's Ramazan is almost done, time passes like a bullet train ..now muslims all over the world will celebrate Eid-ul Fitr after a month of prayers, worship and 'good' deeds. I could only wish that this spirit of doing good an avoiding bad continues for rest of the year :). In Pakistan, Eid will be celebrated tomorrow and like past years our pathan bhais in some NWFP areas have done it in too hasty fashion ... I guess they hate to wait for such a nice day, so do it early always :)

Anyways many EID MUBARAK to all readers of this blog. May this eid bring true happiness in our lives [AMEEN].
